Here is an opportunity to test your knowledge on Pondicherry’s diverse heritage.
The built, cultural, natural and spiritual heritage of Pondicherry is our collective treasure – our endeavour is to preserve and pass down to coming generations the sustainable transformation of our beautiful coastal settlement.
Quizzing is a mind sport and what better way to inculcate a sense of awareness and responsibility in the next generation about the city they call home ?
The 2019 Heritage Quiz is an effort to engage the youngest minds of our city: to not only test them on how much they know about the city but to encourage them to delver deeper below the surface of the vast heritage of Pondicherry.
This is the second edition of the Heritage Quiz following the warm reception the debut edition received in 2018. The PHF team wishes to build on the momentum and make this year’s event bigger and better.
The Heritage Quiz welcomes all government and private schools to harness the curiosity and inquisitiveness in school students about their city’s history and heritage. Let’s get buzzing!
Quiz is being held in two divisions:
- Junior – VI Std to VIII Std
- Senior – IX Std to XII Std
Each team will have 2 students; Each school can send 4 teams ( 8 students) – 2 teams each in both divisions. The quiz will be held in both English and Tamil and students can choose to answer in either language.
